the paper fox project . be inspired

Jeremy Kool, an Australian artist and graphic designer, has created The Paper Fox project, and I'm positively smitten. He intends to ultimately create an interactive storybook for iPad and Android tablets and is selling the images seen here as fine art prints to fund the endeavor.

I love his use of digital media to create a paper-inspired project - pixels that come together in just such a way as to resemble intricate origami with instantly endearing little features.

You can buy his prints here - I think they'd be lovely with a few in a set for a children's room or a studio!

Click below for the jump to see some more of the lovely animals, including one in its natural habitat!

Which creature is your new favorite? As you might've guessed by its placement, I'm rather attached to the little fox. He's just so sweet looking!

Beautiful! What a clever, original idea, and there's something so expressive about each animal. They're all adorable, but I think I'm partial to the pensive little frog.

Oh Wow!!
You're so right. These are awesome. I have to agree with Val, that frog is adorable and so is that turtle(?). Thanks for sharing :)
